Capswise (Pty) Ltd ("Capswise", "we", "us") operates the Capswise platform at capswise.co.za — an AI-powered study assistant designed for South African learners in Grades 8–12.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African laws.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, grade, and subjects. If you sign in via Google, we receive your Google profile name and email.

Learning content: Documents, photos, and notes you upload for AI processing. These are used solely to generate your study materials.

Usage data: How you interact with the app — pages visited, quizzes completed, flashcard sessions, study streaks. This helps us personalise your learning experience.

Device & technical data: Browser type, device type (mobile/desktop), operating system, and IP address for security and performance purposes.

Payment information: We use PayFast to process payments. We do not store your card details — all payment data is handled securely by PayFast.

Communications: If you contact us via email or WhatsApp, we retain those messages to assist you.
